How To Place an Order

Ordering products on Fresh Picnic is easy, safe and secure.

You can place your order in the following ways:

  • Use our easy Online Picnic Supplies Catalog
    • Search through our various product categories which are all listed on the left column of the website. Once you find a product you like click the "Add to Cart" button to add the product to your shopping cart.
    • Your Shopping Cart total is indicated in the top right corner of our website. At anytime click the my cart link to view your shopping cart and make changes. You may add or delete items at anytime.
    • When you are finished shopping, view your Shopping Cart and then click the "Check Out" button. Follow the easy steps to complete your order and make your payment.

Methods of Payment Offered by Fresh Picnic

All payments made to Fresh Picnic are processed by PayPal on their safe and secure website. You do not require a PayPal account and forms of payment accepted are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal account balance and bank transfer (where applicable). All orders must be prepaid prior to being shipped.

Ordering from Fresh Picnic When Living Outside the Contiguous United States

Yes, you can certainly still order from us if you live in Hawaii, Alaska, the Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico. View US Shipping Information for more details. The customer is responsible for any duties, fees or taxes imposed by the receiving country.

At this time Fresh Picnic does not ship to countries outside the USA.

Notifications & Emails

After your initial online order, we will send you a confirmation email. It will include a list of the products you ordered, the address the shipment will be sent to, and your total payment. You will also receive an order number that can be referenced if you have any questions, concerns, or would like to request a change to your order.

You will receive a second email once your order has been shipped. This email will detail your shipment tracking information.

Out of Stock Items

Occasionally, some items may be out of stock and an item that says it is available turns out not to be. If this is the case, you will be contacted regarding the product status and given the option to either cancel your order or have your order back ordered. If you decide to cancel your order your payment will be refunded.

To Cancel or Change an Order

An order may be cancelled and a full refund issued, or changed, only if the order has not been shipped. All cancellations or changes to an existing order must be made in writing. Contact us to request a cancellation or change.

Please note that if you have not received your shipping confirmation email it does not automatically indicate that the order has not been shipped.

US Shipping Information

Our goal is to process all orders within 1 business day of receipt. The current status of your order may be viewed at My Order Status. Orders are processed and shipped during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PM PST). If your order is placed on a weekend or holiday your order will be processed the next business day, subject to availability.

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, a physical address is required. We regret we are unable to ship to Military APO/FPO addresses due to the restrictions of our shipping provider.


Tracking Information
Customers will receive tracking information of shipped orders directly by email from Fresh Picnic on the day after shipment. Tracking information can also be viewed via My Order Status.

Shipping Methods
Fresh Picnic offers both FedEx Ground and FedEx Express (overnight, 2 day, and 3 day) shipping methods where available. Orders are shipped using the method specified by you during the check out process. Depending on the shipping method and the destination, please allow 2 - 8 business days for delivery.

Shipping Rates are provided during the check out process prior to confirming your order.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided during the check out process. These times are calculated by combining estimated order processing time (1-2 business days) and estimated shipping time (dependant on shipping method selected).

Fresh Picnic will make every effort to deliver your order in the estimated time provided; however, these delivery times are an estimate only. No shipping charge will be refunded due to a delayed delivery caused by conditions outside the control of Fresh Picnic, including but not limited to, bad weather or shipping company delays.

International Shipping Information

Currently we do not ship outside the USA.

Return Policy - Money Back Guarantee

FreshPicnic.com has a 30 day return policy. If you are not happy with any stock item, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of receiving your merchandise less a $5.00 restocking fee.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Fresh Picnic will pay for shipping costs on a returned item only if you received an incorrect or defective item. Actual shipping costs will be charged even if you originally purchased products with promotional or free shipping included.

Customized or special order items are non-refundable.

All merchandise must be returned in a new and unused condition with all pieces, original boxes, packing material, instructions and documentation. A refund can only be issued to the original purchaser.

A restocking fee of $5.00 will be charged on all returned products. If obvious signs of use such as missing paperwork, parts or packaging materials, smudges or other marks indicating use, are evident a refund may be denied.

To make a return please follow the following steps:

  1. To begin the return process you must first contact Fresh Picnic to receive a required RA# (Return Authorization number). Returns without authorization are subject to refusal. A return shipping address will be given to you with your RA#.
  2. Carefully repackage the product in the manufacturer's original packaging. Ensure all parts and paperwork is included in your packaging, and you may wish to place the manufactures box in a sturdy shipping quality box to avoid any possible shipping damage.
  3. Return the product via UPS, FEDEX or other insured shipping provider. It is recommended that you insure the package as Fresh Picnic is not responsible for loss or damage on returned merchandise. In the event we receive a return and it has been damaged during shipment from you to us we will notify you immediately so you can file a claim with your shipping company.
  4. A box replacement charge may apply if the manufactures product box is written upon. We recommend using a separate shipping box. Place a shipping label on the box and ensure your RA# is written on the shipping label. Return the product to the address you received with your RA#.
  5. Your Return Authorization (RA#) will expire 10 business days from the date it was issued.
  6. After your return is received undamaged and inspected to be found complete with all parts and materials we will credit the purchase price less original actual shipping costs and a $5.00 restocking fee.  Please allow up to 2-4 weeks for the credit to appear on your PayPal and/or credit card statement.  We will send you an email confirmation to notify you when we have applied the credit.

Damaged Shipments

If while receiving your product it is clear the product is damaged or the box shows significant signs of damage please refuse acceptance of the package from the shipping company and have them return the item to sender.

If you discover after delivery of your product that there is damage you must notify Fresh Picnic within 48 hours. Please retain all packing and product materials. The shipping company may require evidence from the packaging in order to pay any claim. Please note, all damage claims must be reported to Fresh Picnic within 48 hours of delivery. Any claims for damage cannot be processed after this time. Claims cannot be accepted for damage once goods have been used.

Fresh Picnic cannot be held responsible for packages left on porches or elsewhere due to special instructions left by customers for a delivery driver.

No return shipments will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number. Please contact Fresh Picnic before returning any products. To begin your return process request and receive an RA# (Return Authorization number) please contact us.

Product Warranty

All products sold by Fresh Picnic have a Lifetime Warranty provided by the product manufacturer. Products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. The warranty applies when the product is used for the purpose intended, and does not apply to damages caused by typical wear and tear, unreasonable use, or neglect. For additional warranty information and claim details please refer to the documentation included with your product.

While Fresh Picnic will endeavour to facilitate any warranty fulfillment between our customers and manufacturers, all warranties are provided solely by the manufacturers. All of our manufacturers are based in the US.

If you are a little uneasy about shopping online you can relax with Fresh Picnic. We have put into place every measure to ensure your shopping is safe & secure. All payments made to Fresh Picnic are processed by PayPal on their safe and secure website. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not even shared with Fresh Picnic. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction separate from your order confirmation email from Fresh Picnic.  As well, the information practices of PayPal, Inc. have been reviewed and meet the standards of the Better Business Bureau's BBB Reliability Report.

In addition to the security used by PayPal for financial transactions Fresh Picnic is protected with SSL software. This means that for both privacy and security purposes all transactional information, including name, address and phone number, communicated between customers and our website is protected by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, this encrypts the information you provide to prevent such information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet.
